Pre-Training Check: Before each use, thoroughly inspect mounting points, rings, straps (incl. buckles/stitching), door anchor, and foot straps. Never use equipment showing any signs of damage!

Damage Inspection – What to Look For:

Straps: Frayed material, abrasion, damaged stitching, dry rot.

Buckles: Worn teeth, mechanism damage.
Rings: Cracks, fractures, deep gouges.
Accessories: Damage to stitching, material, anchor part.
If Defective: Immediately dispose of the equipment safely!

Checking & Using Mounting Points:

General: Surface must be smooth, non-abrasive. Straps flat. Buckle must not touch ring. Anchor point must handle static AND dynamic loads! Consult a professional if unsure.
Door Anchor: See separate safety instructions for door anchor (use sturdy, closed, locked door; ALWAYS pull/push in closing direction!).

Child Safety:

Not suitable for use by persons under 18 years of age.
Never leave rings, straps, or accessories unattended near children (risk of strangulation/injury!).
Children must under no circumstances play with the equipment, especially without adult supervision.

Why should you buy wooden gymnastic rings?

Wooden gymnastic rings differ from plastic gymnastic rings in many ways. Fast-growing and therefore sustainable types of wood are used for the wooden rings. In addition, your gym rings have a long service life and offer you an optimal grip during training. Compared to plastic, wood absorbs moisture such as sweat, which is why even professional gymnasts rely on wooden rings.

The right grip - gymnastic rings 28mm or 32mm diameter

The standardized diameter from gymnastics is 28 mm. However, it should be borne in mind that gymnasts usually perform with straps and a lot of chalk. This increases the final grip diameter. Studies on grip strength show that the optimum grip diameter for the development of strength in an average hand is approx. 31-33 mm. We ourselves have found that rings with a diameter of 32 mm are easier to grip for large and medium-sized hands and also offer more contact surface in a supporting position.

Beech wood gymnastic rings your faithful training companion

Beech is a heavier and harder wood than birch. This means that rings made from beech are generally more resistant. Your gymnastic rings are also oiled to protect them against moisture. The linseed oil used is absorbed into the wood, hardens and forms a deep protection around the wood fibers. The wooden gym rings are then sanded for a perfect grip. But don't worry, although the oil makes the rings more resistant to the weather, the wood remains breathable and open to diffusion. The gym ring can absorb and release moisture during training.

How do I use door anchors and foot straps in ring training?

The door anchor for rings offers you maximum flexibility for ring training at home or when traveling. If you don't have the opportunity to hang the rings from a bar or the ceiling, you can also train many exercises using the door anchor. You can also attach other training equipment to the door anchor, such as therabands, resistance bands or sling trainers. The foot straps for rings are the ideal addition to your training. The loops open up many more exercises. Place your feet in the foot loops and perform an abdominal workout without resting your feet on the wood.
